I purchased this without much confidence that it would actually work. I've tried numerous car mounts, vent and otherwise, with no luck. This one surprised me!! 😃 I bought a new phone case with a built-in ring holder on the back and in the center of the ring is a magnetic plate. The magnetic hold is so strong that I sometimes end up pulling the mount off the vent blade along with the phone. This is probably because I don't tighten the mount on the blade as much as I should. This mount is superb, well built and high quality material. I highly recommend it!!
